Position Status: Permanent full-time
Hours of work: 38 hour week with RDO every third week. Wednesday-Sunday 5.00am - 1.54pm
Closing: Friday, 25 May 2018 at 4pm

About the Role
As Street Sweeper Operator you will be required to operate Council’s Street Sweeper and undertake duties associated with the sweeping of the streets and roads within the Bathurst region.
You will hold a current NSW Class HR Driver’s licence, as a minimum, and have knowledge and experience in basic mechanical and maintenance principles of plant. Experience working in the road maintenance and construction industry, whilst not essential, would be a benefit to the applicant.
Key requirements
- Ensure the street sweeper is operated and maintained in accordance with correct procedures at all times (particularly emphasising 'daily checks' and general cleanliness of machinery).
- To ensure a high level of communication and co-operativeness is maintained both inside and outside of the work teams.
