POSITION 1

Base Salary:  $316.92 - $332.97 per week + super + loading for Sunday work

Position Status: Permanent part time

Hours of work: 12.75hrs per week - Mon & Tues 11am-3.00pm and Sunday 9.45am-2.30pm

Closing:  Friday, 18 May 2018 at 4pm

 

POSITION 2

Base Salary:  $453.64 - $476.60 per week + super + loading for Saturday work

Position Status: Permanent part time

Hours of work: 18.25hrs per week, Wed to Fri 11am-3.00pm and Saturday 9.45am-4.30pm

Closing:  Friday, 18 May 2018 at 4pm

About the Role

Would you love to tell your friends that you work with dinosaurs?

 

The Australian Fossil & Mineral Museum houses Australia’s largest collection of fossils in amber, fossilised dinosaur eggs and some of the oldest fossils of early forms of life as well as having three dinosaur skeletons on exhibition.  We are looking for two people who have a passion for fossils and minerals to fill the permanent part time roles of Museum Assistant.

The roles will involve retail operations, assisting with events/functions and providing positive visitor experiences through your knowledge of the Museum.

Ideally the successful applicants will have experience in a museum or tourism environment, have exceptional interpersonal skills to provide quality customer service to venue patrons and have computer skills including word processing, maintaining databases and websites and updating social media platforms.
