Salary:  $380.05 - $399.29 per week + super

Position Status: 12 month term contract - part time

Hours of work: 15 hours per week

About the Role

This role will deliver the BMEC venue maintenance program and generally assist with the provision of technical services. This will involve ensuring the scheduled and non-scheduled service and maintenance of the facility occurs, maintaining an annual electrical test and tagging program and performing ongoing general venue maintenance & repairs.

The position will involve a liaison with cleaning and waste management contractors and will require excellent communication skills. 

This position may also be required to assist with setting up and packing down of events at BMEC.

 

Key requirements:  

  • Technical experience and skills relating to the performing arts

  • Computer skills, data entry, maintenance logging

  • A good understanding of general maintenance duties

  • Strong communication skills

  • Willingness and ability to contribute to a positive team and work culture
