Position Status: Permanent part time

Hours of work: 28 hour week, 9.30am - 5.15pm Tuesday to Friday

About the Role

Bathurst Regional Council is currently seeking applications for the position of Gallery Administrator at Bathurst Regional Art Gallery.

This position is responsible for supporting the administrative operations of the Gallery, including overseeing retail operations in the Gallery Shop. 

The successful applicant should have previous experience in office management, retail operations, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team. The position requires strong communication and customer service skills, and provides an opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders, including Volunteers.

This is a permanent part-time position working a 28 hour week from Tuesday to Friday. Flexibility in the hours worked may be required

 

Key requirements:  
  • Office administration
  • Gallery shop operations and customer service
  • Supervision of front of house and casual staff and volunteers including rostering
