Salary:  $955.70 - $1003.35 per week (includes industry allowance)

Position Status: Permanent full time

Hours of work: 38 hour week (with a RDO every third week)

Closing:  Friday, 26 May 2017 at 4pm

About the Role

As motor mechanic you will join an experienced team in a well equipped workshop and be involved in mechanical repairs on heavy plant, motor vehicles, small plant, steel fabrication work and fixed plant work.  You will be a qualified mechanic with broad experience in the servicing and maintenance of light and heavy vehicles and plant in addition to holding a current Drivers Licence.

Key requirements:  
  • Qualifications as a Motor Mechanic
  • Experience in the repair and servicing of light and heavy vehicles and plant
  • WorkCover Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member
  • Qualifications and experience in MIG, TIG and stick welding
  • Certificates of competency or licences to operate items of plant
