About the Role
As Creditors Clerk you will work in a small team within the accounts payable area and be responsible for processing Council payments to suppliers beginning with the letters E –R. It involves making hundreds of payments weekly on a tight schedule and assisting others within the team. You will be required to communicate with various people throughout Council's operations including managers, contractors and other staff in addition to external customers and suppliers.
Key requirements:
- Advanced data entry skills with attention to accuracy
- Good communication skills both oral and written with an emphasis on customer service
- Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Excel and Civica Authority
- The ability to work in a team environment and be able to meet weekly deadlines
