About the Role

The position of Parking Assistant will undertake driving duties to aid in the implementation of mobile parking patrols in the city of Bathurst. A key requirement is that applicants hold an unrestricted NSW Class C drivers licence and are available to work Mondays and other weekdays as required.

The successful applicant will be required to respond to enquires from members of the public seeking directions, general information about Council and other matters. A neat, professional appearance and ability to work as a member of a small team is essential to the position.

The position may also be required to assist in managing telephone and counter enquiries at Council's Small Animal Pound.

  • Current Class C drivers licence
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Pleasant, courteous manner and neat professional appearance
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Demonstrated skills in safe handling of a motor vehicle
